Quotes from Exchange Students

AmandaAmanda 2"Exchange was a once in a lifetime experience, and it was AMAZING! I would 100% tell everyone that it is something they should look into doing in their third year. I choose to go to the National University of Singapore, which I loved. School itself was slightly different in Singapore! Projects were highly emphasized allowing you to make some Singaporean friends in class, and campus was huge! In one of the pictures attached you can see a little bit of the NUS campus, and the other picture is from one of our trips to Koh Phi Phi in Thailand.  The opportunities to travel South East Asia are endless and it was great having Singapore as a home base. I got to explore some amazing countries and take part in crazy activities. In conclusion, exchange is the possibility to go exploring the world while still being able to study, and also making new friends from around the world. It doesn’t come around that often so I would highly take advantage of it!"

"Queen's and Canada was truly the best experience of my life thus far, best 4 months ever! Be it the friendly people, beautiful campus, insane pub crawls, homecoming or Halloween we always had a blast. Studies were not forgotten of course, which made the experience more rigorous albeit much more enjoyable. All in all, this was one of the best decisions I ever made, one that left me with invaluable memories and the best of friends!"

"Going on exchange was one of the greatest decisions of my life. Even though I was having a great time at Queens and loved the student life here, I couldn't turn down such an opportunity. I was right. The year I had abroad was by far, the most exciting year of my life. My horizons have been vastly broadened. From immersing myself into a new culture, to learning two new languages, to meeting and befriending people from all over the world, you couldn't ask for much more. I can't stress enough how many new things I learned and experienced. My whole perspective of things has changed for the better. And how nice is it to know that I have a friend and place to stay in almost every major city in the world?. And to think I did all that I did while doing a full year of School, it's unbelievable. If it sounds too good to be true, take my word for it, it's even better."
