Kim Sturgess, Sc’77, awarded prestigious Canada Medal

The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science at Queen’s University would like to congratulate Kim Sturgess, Sc’77, on receiving the 2015 Canada Medal from the Chemical Institute of Canada. 

Ms. Sturgess is CEO of Alberta WaterSMART, a services organization committed to developing and improving the management of Alberta’s water resources, which she founded in 2005.  She served on the Expert Panel for Water Use in Canadian Agriculture sponsored by the Canadian Council of Academies, and is a sought after speaker and advisor on water issues in Canada and Alberta.
